If you do not read our Policies first, you will not be considered for adoption. We are being extremely picky on homes. We do not mind educating people but you must understand the minimum requirements.
We strive to keep this updated but there may be more ferrets available than what is listed here. Non-Refundable Adoptions\fees is $150 per ferret (as of February 7, 2025).
Please review the Policies and Guidelines prior to contacting us. Ferrets for adoption are located in Spokane Valley. Note that some are marked as Not Yet Available and those require evaluations of health and temperament. All ferrets who arrive here are held for a minimum of 2 weeks before adoption is considered. We do not adopt out unhealthy ferrets, bad biters, or those 6 years old and older. Strays will be kept for 30 days. If no owner is located, then they will be considered abandoned and placed up for adoption unless not found healthy enough.
We do not ship ferrets - all are fixed - we only adopt out to our local (about 100 mile radius of Spokane WA).
If the ferrets are listed together then they will stay together for life. Not all are listed here.
Please see our Facebook page for videos. We do not have "babies". Unlike dogs/cats, we do not get in pregnant ferrets. All our ferrets have been from Marshall farms who supplies the local pet stores with ferrets.
These 3 year old sable boys are the closest that I have seen that might actually be brothers. They are heavily bonded. Crook is not fond of dogs but has gotten better. Crook also isn't fond of men but will get better once he trusts them. He will nip when afraid.
Jellybean is the youngest at 2 and the others are 3. Very bonded but Jelly hates other ferrets. Who would need more than this trio anyway? Amelia does like to nip at bare feet but will stop when you work with her. We will not be separating them.
3 year old Piper lost her cagemate and is not wanting to spend any time with another ferret. She loves playing with our dog. She can have a bit of an attitude but is a very fun ferret.
Foster home eligible - Beatrix and Eleven
6 year old females who do not like other ferrets. No small children as Eleven likes to bite feet. Very annoying. They were kept on cedar shavings which made them have very rough coats. Now they have soft coats and have built some nice muscle.
EXPERIENCED Special home only - Beans and Toast
These 5 year olds will need a very special home as little Beans is almost completely blind. She also is deaf. Toast is healthy and shows no signs of any problems. Beens will go after your feet so special care must be taken around her. She has been fine with a cat but unknown about dogs. NO SMALL CHILDREN are to be around her.
Beans is a roan female. Toast is a chocolate sable male.
FOSTER ONLY
Cartman, Kyle and SnowFury
We supply one bag of food per month and medical needs but only at our vet.
Cartman is the standard sable, Kyle the champagne and SnowFury an albino. Have done fine with people but do not like other ferrets.
Fury is 6 years old and the boys are 5 years old.
Foster ferrets are those who are older or with medical needs. Veterinary care becomes the responsibility of the rescue along with food. Although we appreciate it if the foster can provide food. Our foster families must live fairly close to the rescue and keep in constant contact with us. We have a limited amount of cages to supply but we have plenty of blankets, litter boxes, water bottles and food dishes to supply. There are only a few fosterable ferrets.
NOTE - fostering can be short term as the ones we have available are typically older.
